Casula water tanks is a mad place for graff, convenient and easy to get to as it's just next to the station and no one gives a shit 'bout you painting it, as the other guy said cops only come down to watch. Twink one

THIS SPOT IS STILL LEGAL IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED WITH THE POWERHOUSE NEXT DOOR. YOU CAN NOW GET ARRESTED IF YOU DON'T HAVE REGISTRATION. TOO MANY PEOPLE BOMBING THE CRAP OUT OF THE STATION, TRAINS AND OVER PEICES HAVE F*CKED IT UP FOR ALL.

Casula watertanks provide an amazing environment where people can come together and express their love for art. Everytime I have been to Casula tanks I am welcomed with open arms, I find that no matter how old you are, no matter what type of graffiti you are into, you are always encouraged to express yourself at the tanks. I have never had trouble there, and I would call it my second home.

The only problem with the Tanks is the lack of respect. Fair enough its a free for all wall but the rules of graff should still stand. 'If you cant do better than whats there don't go over it'. I've seen some toy throw ups over mad burners. That shit wasn't right back in the day and sure as hell aint right today. Writers should make a rule there, Throw ups and bombing on one tank and productions and BURNERS on the other. Rant over, Take (New Rock Crew) 1984 - 2014

To register, bring your id and fill out the form with the ladies at the reception of the Powerhouse (50 meters away from the tanks). Love this place! Please treat it properly.

As advised throughout the thread above, people need to register with the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre before painting to receive a permit. Those without a permit will be arrested. There is a giant panel of instructions and enforceable tank rules for this legal art wall.

Still a safe wall as long as you register at the reception. It's a good place.

you “need” a permit, just be respectful when pulled up. can get permission but if you’re respectful they don’t mind & if they ask you (& you don’t have permission) just move on

Nope I got arrested and got 2 weeks and 12 hours community service like omg it's legal ain't it

it is still safe to paint, you just need to walk up to the reception at Casula Powerhouse and register your name so if the police try to question you, your ass is saved by the staff. source: casulapowerhouse.com/about/graffiti-tanks "These are legal graffiti walls - so register your name at reception beforehand to ensure you are covered if the police question you"
Is this wall still safe to paint?
