So if I just show up with my friends, ask the owners of the wall we're going to paint and maybe have them sign a sheet of paper to prove we have permission, will we be hassled by police? By the way I'm under 18, so will this present more problems. |

FYI. April 2011 - A person was arrested by Newtown Police. They visit May Lane daily now. You do need specific permission from owners for any property. |

First time I painted there in 2008 it seemed to be all sweet as there were some local writers doing their thing as well, however just when I´ve finished and packed my shit up cops rocked up and started to hassle the local writers there.

YOU NEED TO ASK SPECIFIC PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF ANY HOUSE, FACTORY OR BUSINESS BEFORE YOY PAINT IT. THE COPS WILL NOT LET YOU OF WITHOUT PERMISSION. |
